A launch party is the official open house for the organization. The community, friends, family, business owners, and other nonprofits come out to learn about the mission and vision. It’s also the first opportunity at funding, so this event a big deal!

Defining the Executive Director (ED)/CEO role
is important, especially when you are also the Founder. The board/board chair and ED have a special relationship, which we'll discuss, but the Executive Director has clearly defined roles that are critical to operations, relationships, and funding.
We will explore these roles and responsibilities – and set some clear boundaries.
Congratulations! The organization has made it through the first one or two years. I'm sure you've had some highs and some lows, but have you hit the mark on key strategic goals?
